As part of SIFOM’s focused mission in bringing music to the Singapore community, young Singapore-based pianist Muse Ye and her friend Victor Chang light up the stage at the Lighthouse School on the 22nd of September where their presented a unique Myths and Legends progamme. The programme combined music from Ravel’s Mother Goose Suite (featuring Sleeping Beauty, Tom Thumb and Beauty and the Beast), Rimsky-Korsakov’s Scheherazade (featuring Sindbad the Sailor), Prokofiev’s Peter and the Wolf and Wagner’s The Flying Dutchman – complete with a lively spoken introduction!
