Singapore International Festival of Music and Sentire Singapore Arts Appreciation Programme
Description
This year, the Singapore International Festival of Music has partnered with Sentire Singapore to bring their special brand of outreach to several Special Education Schools. The SIFOM will bring a concentrated music-appreciation programme to the students of both the Lighthouse School and the Singapore School for the Deaf.

2nd Sentire Singapore Creative Composition Workshop in collaboration with The Singapore International Festival of Music
Description
This year’s Creative Composition Workshop would be in collaboration with the Singapore International Festival of Music, and the students of both the Singapore School for the Deaf and Lighthouse School will be learning simple composition techniques and well as exploring and experimenting with different ideas to make music using graphic scores together with our local professional composers. Various composition activities would be organized, such as a short recital and presentation of each and every student’s unique composition and understanding of their individual sound world at the end of the workshop. Every music composition would also be recorded and given to the students. *The workshop would take place at both the Singapore School for the Deaf and Lighthouse School, and at the Arts House.

Introduction to Brazilian Street Percussion Workshop
Description
Sentire Singapore invites Bloco Singapura to the Singapore School for the Deaf to present their Introduction to Brazilian Street Percussion Workshop. During this workshop, students will be introduced to the various Brazilian Carnival rhythms, and learn region-specific rhythms that arise from different cultural groups.

Description
The trombone was one of the instruments introduced at the inaugural Project:SENTIRE, and due to its popularity Sentire Singapore has decided to invite the SLIDE THAT! Trombone Ensemble back this year to perform at the SSD.
SLIDE THAT! Trombone Ensemble resents the finest of Singapore’s next generation of trombonists and aims to provide quality brass music and convince the audiences how much more fun it is to make music on slides. Expect interaction with the audience to understand more about the trombone and trombone music and expect a lot of fun aurally, visually and physically!

1st Sentire Singapore Piano Introduction and Improvisation Workshop
Description
The music team at Sentire Singapore presents the first Piano Introduction and Improvisation Workshop for the students of the Lighthouse School. In this workshop, the students will be introduced to the piano, and learn how to improvise and perform a short piece of music.
